Elle avait d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e une application nomm\u00e9e <strong>Shodogg<\/strong>&nbsp;d\u00e9s 2011, soit environ deux ans avant la sortie du Chromecast, permettant d&rsquo;envoyer un flux vid\u00e9o d&rsquo;un p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique type t\u00e9l\u00e9phone vers un \u00e9cran grand format. Cette technologie a fait l&rsquo;objet de trois d\u00e9pots de brevets : <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/patents.google.com\/patent\/US8356251\" target=\"_blank\">US8356251<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/patents.google.com\/patent\/US8782528\" target=\"_blank\">US8782528<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/patents.google.com\/patent\/US8904289\" target=\"_blank\">US8904289<\/a> .La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Google (Alphabet Inc.) ne pouvait donc ignorer son existence puisqu&rsquo;une rencontre avait m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9e entre les deux entit\u00e9s en d\u00e9cembre de cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e. Google, n&rsquo;avait pas donn\u00e9 suite mais avait donn\u00e9e naissance, deux ans plus tard, au Chromecast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Google, pour sa d\u00e9fense, affirme qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit bien d&rsquo;une cr\u00e9ation originale , et argumente sur le fait que les brevets d\u00e9pos\u00e9s par le plaignant sont invalides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Cette histoire c&rsquo;est un peu David contre Goliath. Google a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 338,7 millions de dollars, soit environ 2% des <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/abc.xyz\/assets\/a7\/5b\/9e5ae0364b12b4c883f3cf748226\/goog-exhibit-99-1-q1-2023-19.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">b\u00e9n\u00e9fices<\/a> d&rsquo;Alphabet pour les trois premiers mois de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e fiscale en cours. Une paille quand on sait que les produits Chromecast sont d\u00e9clin\u00e9s sur plusieurs produits de l&rsquo;entreprise.
